MedVision Academy and Clinics Welcomes Mr. Bahr Idris Abu Gardea, Former Sudanese Minister of Health
During an inspection visit, MedVision Academy and Clinics welcomed Mr. Bahr Idris Abu Gardea, former Sudanese Minister of Health, who reviewed the academy’s educational and clinical system in the fields of dentistry and specialized medical training.
He was received by Professor Dr. Iman Bashir, Chairwoman of the Board and education expert; Dr. Abdul Aati Al-Manaei, Vice Chairman of the Board and Executive Director; Professor Dr. Adel Ali, Professor of Dentistry; along with the academy’s administrative team.
The former minister toured the clinics, laboratories, and training halls, where he listened to a detailed explanation of the accredited academic programs and training courses, the latest devices and technologies used in diagnosis and treatment, and the quality and patient-safety standards applied within the facility.
In her remarks during the reception, Professor Dr. Iman Bashir welcomed the former minister, stressing that the academy opens its doors to regional and international partnerships, and that such visits represent an important step toward expanding cooperation in medical education and training tourism for all those seeking distinguished training.
Dr. Abdul Aati Al-Manaei said:
“It is our honor today to receive Mr. Bahr Idris Abu Gardea, former Sudanese Minister of Health, in a house of knowledge and healing. This visit is not merely a protocol visit, but a message of appreciation that we value greatly, and an incentive for us to continue what we have started.”
He added:
“MedVision was founded on a firm belief that medical education and healthcare are two sides of the same coin; there can be no distinguished healthcare service without highly trained personnel, and no real training without a practical clinical environment. That is why we brought the academy and clinics together under one roof.”
He concluded:
“We believe that real training is not built on publicity, but on trust, quality, and treatment outcomes. What we strive for is for both the patient and the medical trainee to receive the professionalism and care they deserve. I thank the minister for his kind visit, and I thank the MedVision team for making this dream a reality that can be seen and felt.”
Mr. Bahr Idris Abu Gardea expressed his appreciation for the professional level and integrated operational system he witnessed, praising the efforts made to qualify medical staff and provide treatment services that meet international standards. He also noted the importance of such models in supporting the Sudanese healthcare sector and training its doctors, especially given Sudan’s need for advanced training programs and reliable treatment partnerships.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in medical training and exchange of expertise, and to open channels for academic partnership in a way that serves Sudanese, Egyptian, and African medical professionals, and strengthens medical tourism and cross-border medical education
