Artificial intelligence in hospitals

China has developed the first hospital with artificial intelligence at Tsinghua University in the Chinese capital Beijing, to care for patients remotely. The new hospital aims to enhance medical consultation by training doctors in a simulated environment which enhances their ability to diagnose and treat diseases.
The hospital simulates and predicts various medical conditions through the emergence, spread, and containment of infectious diseases within a specific area.
Liu Yang a professor at Tsinghua University and the lead researcher of the study said: The hospital helps enhance the diagnostic capabilities of artificial intelligence doctors from the virtual world to real-world applications with the possibility of providing high-quality health care services at comfortable prices to the public.
Those working on the study and development of the hospital said that the hospital enables real doctors to treat patients remotely and gives medical students advanced training opportunities that enable them to develop their treatment plans with greater confidence.
